Title: [UI] Positioning causes interruption of flow
Post by: FosterPatch on September 29, 2016, 01:09:07 PM
Hello, I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I think this is a relatively simple suggestion to implement.

As you are aware, the bottom left of the screen is dedicated to "Tile Information", where you can examine the properties of an individual tile. This feature is VERY important, and find myself looking at it all the time, since this is a game about multitasking and micromanagement, I want to be as informed as possible.

Unfortunately, the bottom left of the screen is also dedicated to almost all menus in the game involving the characters.

So, if I'm clicked into a character, I need to exit out to examine the tile information.

This is a very easily solved issue by simply moving the location of Tile Information.

This is an easy implementation that involves changing two numbers, x and y location of the box.

Thanks

+1.1 (because 1 just isn't enough)

It's basically impossible to put down grow fields that align properly with the fertility of the soil (e.g. on an oddly shaped patch of rich soil) for this very reason. There's no reason that needs to be the case.

Yeah, now that you say it that would be nice.

Soil and gravel can be extremely hard to tell apart

Thanks for the positive feedback.

I think suggestions like this (QoL suggestions) should be prioritized before suggestions on new features. I think it is important to improve what we are already working with and get that perfected before moving onto bigger and better things.
