Title: New disasters
Post by: Cosmicpenquin on December 31, 2016, 06:03:20 PM
What if they implemented more natural or man made disasters (i.e. Sandstorm, Acid Rain, Blizzard, etc.) each one would have certain debuffs and could kill or wound colonist and other pawns alike. Just a suggestion for future in the game.

Can you make those suggestions more detailed?
I'm interested in reading how exactly you envision sandstorm effects ingame, or acid rain, etc etc :)

Well like in a sand storm you could develop lung or eye damage for being out in it and severly reduced ranged accuraccy. blizzards can give major hypothermia acid rain destroys or damages buildings and roofs. mind you it would be a slow deterioration and you wouldnt want to be out in acid rain

How would acid rain be a thing in this game? Rimworlds aren't what i'd call industrial and green energy seems to be the main source electricity.

Acid rain could come from either it being a radioactive spot or maybe its just a acidic planet
