Title: Link between the durability of a weapon and its DPS
Post by: NeverPire on January 02, 2017, 09:28:50 AM
Is there any link between the durability of the weapon and its DPS.

Otherwise, I couldn't explain these information panels in my current game.

I precise that the french word "mediocre" equals to the quality poor.

A small one yes. Melee becomes less damaging (dulled blade, cracked handle, ect) over time, and guns become less accurate.

this is the old, A15 calculator, with a slider for weapon quality:

Slightly outdated as values were changed in A16 so not precise but good for getting a relative ballpark.

The question I have right now is whether dual scyther blades beats a legendary plasteel longsword.

I play in A16 so it's the actual calculator applied here.

I have seen that the best weapon (except scyther blades) is the uranium longsword.
A DPS a little bit smaller but a better movement, and percentage of heavy wounds.
