Title: New Traits?
Post by: DaemonBlood on January 14, 2017, 03:42:33 AM
Some Ideas for Traits.

Quirky: Can do anything, Ignores priorities and area restrictions (including not being assigned to things).
Though this wouldn't do much either way, it seems a bit more flavorful.

Inspirational: If they are in a good mood, others will get a slight mood bonus.
It would help to counter psychic drones and negative traits.

Detrimental: If they are in a bad mood, others will get a slight mood debuff.
For every positive trait there must be a negative one, right?

Homewrecker: If people are married, they actively try to ruin the marriage.
Evil is as Evil does? Just neat to see more social oriented interactions.

New traits are always a welcome addition. I especially like the ones that involve a social component!

Obese - hunger increases 50% faster, unhappyness when hungry doubled.

Annorexic - hunger increases 50% slower, no mood loss from hunger.

Anorexic and obese should probably be disease states though.
Unless you have personality traits that can change over the course of the game, which will be fun.

Anyway, here you go with a few:

Prideful: small relationship penalties with everyone, faster skill learning

Humble: small relationship bonus with everyone, slower skill learning

Racist: relationship penalty with anyone not of his race. Bonus to relationship of same race

Sickly/Formidable: affects chances for getting sick

Leader (rare): gives all drafted pawns within small radius +3 to melee/firearms (non-comulative) but draws more aggro/fire from enemies within range

and... Hmm, how about this:
Jew: +400% to learning factor, relationship penalty with everyone, including other jews
