Title: In-game mod downloader
Post by: Pagan_PL on February 01, 2017, 07:20:57 AM
Hello!
I don't know if someone suggests it, but last time I played RimWorld was over 2 years ago  :)
Reason - too many great mods that became out of date after main alpha updates  :(

That is my question : Developers, are you have plans for such feature?

I believe scuba is planning on including a mod manager as part of his mod list backup project:

If that turns out well, maybe Tynan will incorporate it into vanilla at some point. Other mods have slowly been merged over the alphas.

Having said all that, the mods going out of date after every alpha is still a thing and will probably still be a thing until release. Too much gets changed every alpha for all mods to need the simple change of the target version in xml.
