Sometimes like when I've had a toxic fallout start I want everyone to stop and harvest plants, after I've done that I need to re-jig everyones work orders
It would be nice to have a 2nd setup - which I could set up, switch to, then when it passes, switch back
Set up a zone that includes only growing zones and stockpiles for harvested crops. Then restrict your assigned pawns to that zone. This will allow them to do work only in this zone, meaning almost certainly just harvest and haul of crops.

regardless, i've wished i could switch pawns to other preset schedules and work priorities. I would very much appreciate a set of configurable schedules and work priorities that could be assigned, akin to the outfits and drug policies.
A simple "temporary change" button that makes the new schedule wear off after 24h would be great.
Or seasonal schedules, mmh.
Or the ability to define the kind of work a pawn will prefer to do during a given hour, so that Hans may get up an hour early every morning to make breakfast for everyone.
If I understand the OP, they mean the ability to switch between two (or more) preset priorities. This is actually something that interests me. Because sometimes building is my main focus, while other times I need food or crafting to be the priority. Having different work priority options to toggle between would be a nice feature.
Example:
Colonist A
Work Priorities 1: 1 firefight, 1 doctor, 1 flicker, 1 haul
Work Priorities 2: 1 patient, 1 bed rest, 1 growing, 1 plant cutting
Work Priorities 3: 3 construction, 2 mining, 4 crafting, 1 research
Colonist B
Work Priorities 1: 1 doctor, 1 clean
Work Priorities 2: 2 growing, 1 plant cutting
Work Priorities 3: 2 art, 1 crafting, 1 hauling
Colonist C
Work Priorities 1: Hunting, Cooking checked
Work Priorities 2: Hauling only checked
Work Priorities 3: 1 doctor, 1 clean, 1 research
The way I'm thinking, is the work priorities screen would contain 3 sub-tabs with check boxes I ended up just doing a quick mock-up, I felt it would have been more complex to try and explain it. Keep in mind, I'm not an artist, nor am I suggesting this specific design is supreme. Just for the express purpose of explaining. I wasn't sure how to link an attachment to a post directly, if a mod wants to fix it, that'd be great.

This would make my evacuations so much easier to manage, i support!
