Wow, great job!

This is how I always imagined centipedes... unstoppable robot tanks.

i was always assuming that since it has rings, it kinda moved like a centipede but without legs
(which in turns make it move not like a centipede )
you know in a kinda cartoony way~~ since i don't think it have any "leg" limbs

I had a little artistic freedom with it.

Very cool. The centipede is pretty iconic and relatively unique, so a good choice for fan-artwork in general, and you captured it extremely well.

The Centipedes always reminded me of the protoss Reavers from StarCraft.

Good thing the mechanoids don't have seeking ordonance and shuttle crafts

Give them a triple rocket launcher and have them drop-pod through your roof!

judging from earlier posts from Devs that their influences include many Sci Fi authors including Alistair Reynolds and probably Neal Asher(both british ones) i can decude that "mechanoids" derive from the fabled "hooders" in near ashers novels. clearly military super bio constructs that mave devolved into super apex predators after the civilisation  that made them purposfully devolved into non sentience.their main useage was to obliterate any traces of their prior civilisation by devouring it. talking battlemechs turned super scavengers :)
