Title: Colonist died from blood loss without any injuries.
Post by: siks on March 01, 2017, 07:20:36 AM
This is a first for me, one of my colonist was about 5 hours from death and collapsed before I realised he was bleeding. Doctor of 15 medicine fixed him with glitterworld medicine and he no longer had injuries yet the death until... timer didn't stop. Died of extreme blood loss, had no bleeding injuries/cuts, just a destroyed thumb and a cut off foot.

Save and reload, that will remove the bleeding.

This could be a different issue, but really reminds me of this bug about pawns dying from blood loss before the timer runs out: https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=29939.0 (https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=29939.0)

This should be fixed for A17.
Was an issue with caching the bleeding rate according to ison, IIRC.

Thank you for the bug report. As others have said, this is a known issue that should be fixed in A17. I think this is the Mantis report for this https://ludeon.com/mantis/view.php?id=2794 , but I'm sure I've seen another one, and where ison specifically mentions it was a caching problem (as nccvoyager refers to). But I haven't been able to find that Mantis report (maybe ison mentioned it on the forums rather than the Mantis. But a search for such a post comes up blank as well. So ....?)

Anyway, I will close this thread now as a known/resolved issue.
