Title: Collectibles
Post by: poolday on April 14, 2017, 10:44:48 AM
I'd love to see some collectible mechanics in RimWorld, as of finding ancient items, scrolls, statues, scattered around the planet and/or getting them by trade. Perhaps the most complete collection would sell for a bigger price, or perhaps they could be machine parts to assemble something unique that couldn't be built otherwise.

Pretty cool idea. Exploration would be cooler that way.

Just wait till the quest system is out in A17 and people will be all over this. ATM it's possible but it'd essentially be buying AI cores from merchants. You just gotta hope they have what you need.

Yeah, rare/legendary sorts of special items would be great. Like weapons that a trader has a 0.1% chance of carrying but are way better than anything else you can get, or armor, or medical glittertech stuff (like cutting edge glitter tech).
