Title: Medicine - are they actually using it?
Post by: Stankor on April 22, 2014, 03:52:09 PM
I never paid much attention before, but it doesn't seem like the colonists are using the medicine. I have 4 of them incapacitated right now and only food is being brought to them by the others, who have Doctoring enabled. The medicine is in the stockpile, and definitely not forbidden.

Oh, thanks for the answer. I actually did a forum search before posting and it's kinda weird that nobody had asked this.

It's a pity if they are removed, I like the idea of spending resources to heal your colonists faster.

They were implemented without an real use atm, so they will likely come back if Tynan has given us some ways to use it, besides of trading.

I assume they were added currently just as trade goods; Though they'll be added in later for more advanced buildings and tools I believe is the idea

One of the mods uses medicine to make a medical bed (search for MedBed, I think) that works as a bed and heals colonists extremely quickly, so that's useful :/

Uranium is usable with some mods medkits for the MedBed mod but shells and missles are totally useless and only tradable for money. Unless you find a mod for it
