Title: More dumb work
Post by: PrincessZulu on August 06, 2017, 05:58:47 PM
I'd like there to be more "dumb" tasks added to the game to increase the need and value of incapable pawns that you would not normally keep around any longer than it takes for them to die as a meat shield etc. I think it could add some immersive value too since those mundane tasks that pawns would be performing are necessary for survival.

Im thinking of tasks like: Washing, dishing

But also more game mechanincs: gardening/cutting grass; to reduce the amount of tall grass enemy pawns can hide in during raids, if tall grass ever becomes a thing. Would work like snow does during winter so zones can be assigned to keep areas clean off it.

Keeping watch for enemy raids to give you a few hours warning if the raiding party if big enough (tribes mostly)

Those are the ones i can think of atm

Those are already part of Cleaning and Plant Cutting.

There are already Clear Snow Zones in the Zone section.
And raids are supposed to catch you by surprise.

I would suggest washing clothes and cleaning weapons :)
