Title: Stripping version 2.0 --- add drop down menu ---
Post by: Yoshida Keiji on September 25, 2017, 12:06:14 AM
Every time the player gets raided, there will be casualties and downed people as well. Due to the large scale attacks, I find myself with many enemies about to die around so I strip them all to get their clothing. (As my prison capacity is full and my colony looks like a sole prison game rather a colony on itself, like if I were just a slaver.)

I would love to see an upgrade in this feature so that I can pick "what" I want stripped. I don't care much about their tribalwear or any other item with less than 50% deterioration, so I just Forbid the unwanted and move on but I end up with my map scattered with lots of un-salvaged items all over. Can't we just tell our guys to only take some per body?

It would be like the Tailor bench drop down menu, per body.

I only strip bodies that are hauled into storage, shorter ways to the crematorium..
what do you do with the bodies afterwards ?
Just to know if there would not be a better solution for your stripping needs  ;D

< ================================ >

For actually implementing your suggestion I would expand the Idea and wish for a general Job-Setup Menu.
Similiar to how HugsLib's ModMenu works at the moment.
A Tab where you can set all the Micro Wishes to tell the Pawns how to do their jobs.

-> which clothes to strip
-> which food to use for prisoners
-> which medicine belongs to which job.
-> which food to use for taming

aaaaaand I am going there ..
-> which building types to built first
-> which Items to haul first
-> which plants to prefer

============== EDIT ================

-> pickup radius for Haulers in which to look for additional stuff to carry.
-> Radius for Blueprints in which Builders will gather materials.

I play without killbox, so my fights take place by the walls and I'm in Boreal Forest. They will all die before I manage to strip them at the door of the prison. I leave the corpses outside, as my colonists rarely go out, I don't care if they get mood penalty for seeing bodies. And since all my games are in Lost Tribe... I will be bunching up corpses long before I get a crematorium, which never is a priority to me.

Imprisoning everybody is stupid, I give you that.

What I meant was carrying the bodies into the boar pit or something similiar and stripping them there.
Using the container to reduce walking.

And I think you can allready burn clothes at the campfire. ( if not there is a mod by Kaptain_Kavern, that empowers the Campfire into a weaker Crematory .. )

Still. I endorse your suggestion, that there should
