Title: Change terminology of deadmans, etc in crafting and storage
Post by: lancar on December 19, 2017, 09:00:44 AM
Please, please PLEASE for the love of god remove the use of "non-" from the game. Also, add an opposing option for each criteria. Just 1 of them is not enough for every situation.

For example, the game currently says "allow non-deadmans apparel"
Allow non-deadmans...
allow not deadmans...
so... allow normal clothes that are not deadmans?
But that's not what it does. It allows deadmans! so a pawn with this on will wear both deadmans and normal clothes, completely counter to what the option actually means.
Or does it? Actually, I have no idea, the wording is very confusing.

Can we please get something more easily understandable, like "allow deadmans" and "allow normal"? If the two options are together, it gets really easy to understand what they do.

Same with "Allow Smeltable" + "Allow unsmeltable" (concerning weapons. This is actually already in the game, for some reason) and "Allow rotten" + "Allow Fresh" (concerning food).

The usual caveat applies:
Yes, there's probably mods that do this. I'm aware of that, I want it in vanilla.

+1 from me as well. Matter of fact I think I started a similar suggestion thread a while back (maybe 3 - 6 months ago)
