Title: [Mod Request] Pause when satisfied stockpiles
Post by: Anduin1357 on December 20, 2017, 07:18:01 PM
Sometimes, we just want to bring some material to a stockpile and forget about it for awhile and let our haulers do other stuff than restock it every time stuff gets taken.
Let's make this happen with a pause when satisfied option where the stockpile is ignored once filled until it runs out to the specified stock level.

I know there is a mod that adds that - I have it in my game - but I'm not sure which one ...  ???

I think it comes from Better Workbench Management

Well, it doesn't have that for stockpiles :/

I really need this, hate it when my dudes are just continuously filling the chicken hutch with kibble every time a chicken has a munch of it. Had some of my pigs die of starvation because of it. Would also be useful for when my dudes have been mining but nobody who's hauling stuff ever leaves the home area coz there's food to bring in from the fields or meals to move to the almost full fridge in the dining room. I'm sure it'd be easy to implement too, just copy over and edit the code from the workbenches pause feature.

You should try
Rimworld Search Agency
https://github.com/DoctorVanGogh/StorageSearch/tree/experimental/a18
That mod add a hauling hysteries slider to stockpile's, that is a threshold which need to be reached before your hauler start to restock it.

So when you set your your kibble 1x1 stockpile to 50%, it would restock after each kibble got eaten.
