Title: Vehicle/Mount System (Riding, Driving)

As we use World system in Rimworld, distances became very important. It is realistic to reach to other "close" locations in a few days on foot. So we need to have some vehicles to reach to destinations faster, otherwise "World" function (which is a great and essential addition) gets boring pretty fast.

Taming Alpacas, Dromedaries (maybe adding stray Horses, Wild Donkeys too later?) to make them ride will be cool to use them as vehicles at the beginning (riding Elephants for attacking will be better I think). Then cars will be nice, that we run by coal, steam, gas, electricty, etc. Probably then this request will be followed with Tanks, or cars that we see in Madmax will make the game very eccentric. Also when Raiders attack the colony with their lunatic cars, it will create a crazy sight probably.

Also having a vehicle should create much bigger inventory when going to World map. It is nice when Traders visit us with their animals carrying weight, it will be nice we do same too.

I've been talking about this for about a year now and it doesn't seem like it'll ever get added. I don't know why.

i dont think cars, tanks and anything madmax style would add much to the game at all.
adding horses and making it possible to ride them, dromedaries and thrumbos i could totally see for multiple reasons (but dont forget to decrease the animal's carry capacity by the weight of its rider)

and should there ever be anything added that is remotely similar to any vehicle i'd first want blimps to happen. also, only use chemfuel as fuel. it exists for a reason.

but let's be real. none of this will happen

Never say never. It already exists in mod form, so it's definitely doable.
I doubt it'd get implemented before 1.0, but as a a free content patch or paid DLC later? Perhaps :)
