Title: Rivers freezing
Post by: Jdawg on June 20, 2018, 12:59:53 PM
Hello I have been playing on version 1.0. It is great but I have a few suggestions. I suggest that in winter and late fall that rivers begin to freeze over. I belive you should do this because having permanent electricity is easy on maps that have rivers because you can get a constant supply of power for free. If in the winter the rivers froze it would make the water mill generator more balanced because after playing on the same map for 10 hours I have not seen the need to use any other source of electricity

I like this idea.

Since this makes water wheels useless when the river is frozen. But because the river is frozen, pawns and animals including raiders will make use of the frozen river walk by. Until it unfreezes where they would drown and the stuff they have will be lost :P

Can be applied for swamp or possible lakes too, to allow raiders to walk faster through them in winter.

Swamps and lakes should freeze at higher temperatures than rivers or salt water.
