I like this suggestion.
This mod sort of does that. Really what it does is allow you to specify what area should be focused on for cleaning, so it doesn't let you do "per pawn" but can let you prioritize, say, cleaning the kitchen, or the clinic area specifically. Once the main priority is handled, you could move it elsewhere, or switch back to the whole home area. It's helpful, but it's micro-managey. Still better than vanilla cleaning, or manual ordering though.

And I haven't tested it myself, but the Achtung! mod adds a special "clean room" command you can issue to pawns. It also adds a lot of other pawn control options, but my mod list is already a bit unwieldy, so like I said, I haven't tried it yet.
