Title: True Storytellers
Post by: cyberdragoon2100 on July 23, 2018, 01:34:38 AM
I love Rimworld and the challenges it presents as a colony builder and survival game. The fact the game progresses via storyteller is so unique but I think it can go one step further to really pull the "storyteller" aspect into a substantial part of the game. At the end of each story element that the storyteller has set upon the player, a text file is created with a record of events leading up to that event. The span between events could be considered chapters in your colonies story. Only minor to major events would be recorded with a small text description allowing for players to later on go in and fill in the gaps. These Rimworld stories could be hosted like a fan fiction gallery for the community to read and enjoy while creating our own Rimworld stories.

That's actually kinda cool.

Don't know how much work it would be to implement though.
