Title: Snapshot of dead colonies for world gen
Post by: cloudchild on August 09, 2018, 12:01:22 PM
Takes a colony where everyone has died and adds it to a list and populates new world generations with abandoned colonies from the list  for you to discover. I think this would be a fun way to add story elements and add flavor to the world from past playthroughs.

Yea that would be pretty cool.

I also agree this would be interesting. Add in randomly generated furnishings and loots to find while treasure hunting.

This is a great idea. Tiles could have a "ruins" icon upon world generation, although you probably should be disallowed from starting there similar to populated tiles. Also, structures should be badly damaged or destroyed for the most part with maybe a couple decent items stored away somewhere. Maybe if you caravan to a ruined tile you could colonize it too.
