I received a good trade deal but I cannot fulfill it. I have a lot of almost every kind of leather and cloth. My base is well developped. I have checked the wiki for patchleather, how to make it or etc. and no answer.
Was there any patchleather earlier in some version and now it is not available to get but the quests still can contain patchleather?

Patchleather is from Vegetable garden fabric's mod (or maybe from some other mod), but not a vanila leather type.
It is created at the Electric/hand loom if it got added from VGP.
It's can create at tailor benches.
Patchleather is in the vanilla, you make it in tailor bench, it only take certain leather though, mostly animals, not cloth or human leather etc.
Doh, my mistake. I should take care more about vanila gameplay.

Someone should add there that you can simply create it at the tailor bench from any kind of leather.
I have an electric tailor bench and I dont see any patchleather. There are only some clothes and I can decide what to use to make them. Should I then go backward and build normal tailor bench?
I think it would solve my problem with patchleather.

Okay, I have builded hand tailor bench and there it was the patchleather! It also was added to my electric bench. For me building some non electric stuff was a waste of time and resources.
So, should I build also a butchers spot and fuel smithy to unlock some stuff?
just simply destroy old one then pop up a new as replacement, if there's no "new" option, i assume the save you're playing is from B18?
i dont remember there's anything new with butchering+smithing
I didnt need to destroy any. I just started to play few days ago. Now it is ok.
