Title: Mod Request - Create Characters before Creating World when starting a new colony
Post by: metal_fish on November 29, 2018, 06:57:28 PM
All my googling has turned up nothing on this. Building a team is time-consuming enough without having to complicate it further by tailoring it to the biome I've already selected. Like if I don't have a particularly strong doctor but i'm super happy about everything else I definitely don't want to go to a jungle. If I have no strong miner but I'm still in love with my team I would like to stay away from hills/mountains. If anyone knows a good reason it isn't this way by default, I'd be interested to hear.

I don't know the mod that allowed you to create characters before creating the world, but with the mod "prepare carefully" you can save and load presets of characters, so once you create such a preset you can always load it anywhere in the world.
