Title: Hydroponics not working
Post by: Hancake on July 21, 2014, 01:22:00 PM
:-[ It says the hydroponics tables need to be 'brightly lit', yet even when they're surrounded by lamps they're never brightly lit, so they don't grow.

Where have the sun lamps gone??

I think it did make more sense for sun lamps to be included in the Production tab for just this reason, but at least it's really easy to mod this yourself.

Agree with Telkir. Sun lamps don't really have any other use than food production, so it's best to be put in the Production tab.

You could use sun lamps as normal lights, the nub me from a few months back only used sun lamps out in the open. Many fires started to my dismay

Sun lamps consume more power than regular lamps, though, so they're not the best for standard use.

thankfully they only get set on flames during rain, so the fires get put out on their own
gives really charming fireworks to cheer up the citizens in my opinion
and keeps their repair skills honed up
and red alert message unlike the random short-circuit event
"Someone's attackiiiing!.. oh just sunny the sunlamp again, cheeky bugger"
