- This happened after the last update. Running without a DLC did not fix this.
- The mesh of a planet looks broken at the hemisphere boundary. Polygonal "teeth" stick around.
- I expected to see a flattened sphere, but the previous mesh was enough for me.
- Run the game with default graphics profile with GeForce GTX 1050.
- No savefile created, just started the game

Thanks.
Is it just a visual error? Does it create any play problems?
I've never seen this and it seems very unlikely to be DLC-related since the DLC doesn't change planet rendering at all. Honestly it might be worth updating your graphics drivers, etc.
Thanks for attention, Tynan.
Yes, this is just a visual error.
This was appeared after the February 23 update. I use the stable version of the driver version, 391.01, (in my opinion) and have never updated it. In fact, it looks as if when building the mesh, more points were indicated than needed.
A driver version 353.30 (lastest for 740M) is installed on my laptop and an identical situation is observed there.
This does not cause any inconvenience.
The planet covering border is glitched on my game, with hyphen on one side, something strange on the other.
Same issue: [1.1.2552 + Royalty] Planetoid mesh broken (https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=50408). NVidia drivers?
I have a Nvidia driver ... as most of people.
For information, I play in vanilla game and I suppose it is a very common bug.
Topics merged, thanks for reporting.
Here is my save file too if it can help : Save file : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-ts-y3aAJEn-LitHHbqlT-Pn83272K4F
