Title: [1.1 Vanilla] Colonists Refuse to Cook Meat
Post by: teh_doctah on February 29, 2020, 04:19:12 AM
Noticed my colonists were completely out of meals while forming a caravan. Puzzled, I attempted to get one to prioritize cooking survival meals. Said I was missing material.  So I tried to prioritize simple meals.  Missing material.  Despite the fact my freezer was full of meat, which my colonists were now eating raw and getting grumpy about.
This issue appears to have developed in the middle of a play session, I recall noticing them cooking just fine earlier. They also managed to cook some milk into simple meals, so it seems to only affect meat.

Hi,
not sure why, but all the meat you have stored at your freezer isn't allowed to cook simple meals.
If you adjust this, your cooks can produce some meals.

Thank you for your quick response (and apologies for the delay in mine).  The disallowed meats, when I had a look, were from new animals introduced in 1.1; the game must have auto-disallowed them when I updated, like it did their wools and furs, something I did manage to catch earlier on!  Many thanks!
