Title: Time management
Post by: BitMage on August 01, 2014, 08:08:34 AM
Id like to see a time-clock item added. the kind used at work places to help manage work shifts.
this item could add the ability to control when groups of colonists work, eat, sleep, and play...

it would be nice to have some workers only active during the night. i know, simple idea, difficult to implement.

they would then need things to do while not "on the clock"

Quotesimple idea, difficult to implement.
Perhaps not. Every citizen has their own bed. Set their bed time using the bed.

Well that was fast. Would you give it a shot? I know you can do it. We'll be cheering on you! :D

I personally like the colonists to manage their own work schedule as much as possible.
If you're unsatisfied with their time-management, it's better to tweak the AI.

Well the bed would just be the UI part. The AI part is a bit trickier, since that decides when citizens go to bed.
