Title: [1.1.2] Can a person with a dead spouse remarry?
Post by: grausames G on April 11, 2020, 08:56:56 AM
Hey,

i have two pawns who have been longtime lovers with an always 100 opinion of eachother but they are not marrying. In devMode I saw that one of them has a dead spouse (not ex-spouse but spouse). If I remember it correctly the message when they found each other was the affair one not the just two lovers one. I would assume the spouse was dead from the start of the game as the spouse does not show up without devMode.
I would really like them to marry so they can share their throneroom. Do I just have to wait longer? Or is this a Bug and should i file a report? I know  I could fix this with devMode but i would like to use it as litte as possible.

Is there a way to figure out wheather the game sees their relationship as an affair?

Or I might simply use it as an roleplaying initative and say he is still grieving and wont marry again.

As far as I know I dont have any mods installed which change pawn generation or interaction. There was already one marriage in my colony. So that works.

Greetings
G

Hi!
Well, I think you only need some patience. Rimworld is pretty near real life when it comes to relations and this could be a part of grieving.
