Title: Combat extended error
Post by: Basil4261 on October 18, 2020, 06:19:43 AM
I have no other mods than combat extended and the load order is good, yet I'm getting this error

[Combat Extended] Patch operation Verse.PatchOperationReplace(Defs/ThingDef[defName="GoJuice"]/comps/li[@Class="CompProperties_Drug"]/minToleranceToAddict) failed
file: C:\Games\RimWorld\Mods\CombatExtended\Patches\Core\Drugs\Drugs.xml
Verse.Log:Error(String, Boolean)
Verse.PatchOperation:Complete(String)
Verse.LoadedModManager:ClearCachedPatches()
Verse.LoadedModManager:LoadAllActiveMods()
Verse.PlayDataLoader:DoPlayLoad()
Verse.PlayDataLoader:LoadAllPlayData(Boolean)
Verse.<>c:<start>b__6_1()
Verse.LongEventHandler:RunEventFromAnotherThread(Action)
Verse.<>c:<updatecurrentasynchronousevent>b__27_0()
System.Threading.ThreadHelper:ThreadStart_Context(Object)
System.Threading.ExecutionContext:RunInternal(ExecutionContext, ContextCallback, Object, Boolean)
System.Threading.ExecutionContext:Run(ExecutionContext, ContextCallback, Object, Boolean)
System.Threading.ExecutionContext:Run(ExecutionContext, ContextCallback, Object)
System.Threading.ThreadHelper:ThreadStart()

Anyone here know how to fix it?

Hi,
at first why you don't ask at the mod topic/discussion when you have a question about a mod ?

I don't got these error when i use the latest version from Github.
I suggest that you delete the mod folder so you don't have any old files that maybe could cause the problem.
Then get the lastest version and install it.
If you use steam, unsubscribe the mod (that should get ride of old files too) and then resubscribe.

First of all if this outdated site would be properly made maybe I would've seen the "mod topic/discussion"

Your advice is as useless as someone saying "Did you try restarting your pc" on a tech forum

Look, when i don't get the error but you do, something is wrong with your mod(s) installation.

Typical error are, there are some leftover files from previous mod version.
So when you don't like to follow the suggestion it is your decision.
But do you know how many problems allready got solved with a simple "restart PC" ? :-)
Followed by the "Did you plugin the power cable".
Noone know at the other side of the monitor how expierenced the other one is.
You throw in these error and now you await all ?
