So I'm trying to play Vanilla Expanded Vikings and I don't want savage tribe raids. I barely get any raids from the Viking factions and they are melee-focused while tribes just spam ranged weapons which are super annoying.
I've already started the game ofc so Faction Control won't work so I don't know of any way to prevent them from raiding.
Is there anything that can be changed in the save file or core files? (I've destroyed all of their bases).
Or could I make a new game instance with the same map and pawns and everything so that Faction Control can take effect?
When you use the same seed, and place the colony at the same tile you should get a similar map.

Faction Control doesn't work as intended on games that are already started.
Also, I want to basically have all the stuff that I have now, buildings pawns everything, but just a new game. How would I do that?
A safegame editor to remove the faction, but i don't know any working one for 1.2
Disabling that mod during gameplay isn't an option either.
So i suggest to keep playing and before you start the next colony you can disable Vikings.
The vikings shouldn't be a big threat to a industrial tech base even when they are many.
IMO some hightech raiders/sappers with serveral rocketlauncher i fear more since i notice these launcher first when i hear the rocket sounds.
Um, I'm trying to have ONLY Vikings raid me aka disable savage tribes. :/
