Title: Body parts prices inflation?
Post by: RWAmateur on September 18, 2021, 02:45:30 PM
First game in about a year - happy to be back in Rimworld again.

But, I just took my first body parts harvest to the neighboring city.
They're offering me 900 (market value 1500) for a kidney and 1300 (market value 2000) for a lung.
What's up with that? Those are crazy high prices and much higher than what the wiki states and what I remember.
I'm playing on Sea Ice and hoped to have a hard time - but with such body part prices I don't see any problems surviving here.
Are those prices correct? Or have I messed something up with a mod somewhere perhaps?

Answering this question myself.
Sorry - should have done a little investigating before crying at the forums...
Yes, the prices were changed by the Enhanced Prostetics And Organ Engineering mod.
Shame - I like playing with prostetics.

Also, if you hover the mouse over the price, it will display the price modifiers. Like selling, buying, difficulty, etc

Imo harvesting organs is lucrative enough that a price increase is a quality of life thing if you are going to be exploitive and a wealth punishment if you are keeping them in reserve
