Title: Extremely small improvement
Post by: Bullwinkle Moo on June 15, 2024, 10:01:22 PM
Problem: Trying to compare 2 armors, I sometimes get thrown off because the display of information is not standardized. Example: try to compare a normal quality plainleather shirt to a good quality alpaca wool shirt. The former shows armor values for Sharp, Blunt, Heat, Insulation Hot, and Insulation Cold. When you compare this you memorize those numbers and then look at the second shirt, but this time the shirt displays no value for Blunt. So the list of numbers you memorized doesn't correspond to the list of numbers shown on the new shirt. This is also an issue when using website tables that list these values. It can throw the player off and be confusing. It has happened to me many times over the years. I can imagine it might cause issues for modders, too.

Solution: Simply add a line for Blunt on the wool clothes. The fact that it reads "0" doesn't mean it shouldn't be there; it should totally be there! Make it standardized and a few of us players will breathe just that much easier.

I just returned after 2 years away, and I am amazed at how much polishing (similar to this suggestion) you guys have done! Keep up the good work!

Agreed, I have the same issue.
