Title: Meat packaging/ storage /retainment
Post by: putsam on October 05, 2014, 03:28:50 PM
I was thinking about how raw meat lasts forever and I thought "how about a researchable table that packages meat using cloth increases it's life from like 10 day to 200 and it increases it's selling value instead of selling raw meat. also I though how about mining salt that way it can be an early game way to store meat.

tell me what you think

I like the idea of meat preservation, it'd add a new concept to the game since to make fine meals and up you need meat. I like the idea of using cloth as a packaging, it's simple and to the point and not too hyper-realistic. Salt is also a great idea, but why not also add in drying the meat and other preservation methods too?

I thought of salt first because I was mass mining in my colony and I was going to expand to the idea of the  drying of meat
