I saw this game on some LetsPlay and it looks great. Can't wait for it to come out. In the meantime, is there a guide helping understand many/all of the game play issues? I read that the wiki is woefully out of date, so not sure if there's a guide somewhere where I can get an idea about the game in more detail?

There's not real guides around atleast any that I'd noticed
there's lots of tips spread around lots of threads all over though! finding them could be troubling =P
watching an LP is good way to get started I feel, you'll learn the ropes quite fast on your own
The stuff in wiki should still be relevant in all the very basic stuff
but you can always get some specific bits of information confirmed in here!

Wiki was fully up to date for Alpha 6 so it's only one alpha behind. And Zesty and others have already started updating it to A7.
I feel it's worth pointing out that the game itself does a pretty good job of poking you along, guiding you into doing the right things. The harder, more interesting stuff can be learnt through trial and error. Losing is fun, and makes you better able to prepare for next time!

Yes, we've definitely worked to make it a game you can play without external resources.
