Title: Does opening spaces at the edge allow raiders?
Post by: SirDarkday560 on October 31, 2014, 01:28:30 PM
So, im in Alpha 3f.

My colony has 20 people in it, and I've been running it for a real life 4 hours. Don't ask how I got so many. On a short note, a giant group of raiders came to my door, and another group came, then visitors, they all started attacking eachother. It was at least 50 people fighting, and I just recovered the incapacitated.

Anyhow

My colony is up against a thin layer of rock against the bottom of the map. I've not been able to build near the edge, so I'm just strip mining to the edge in order to get metal.

Now theres about 23 open areas in the middle of my base that open into oblivion.

Can raiders comes through the holes in the rock that I've made?

I think that if you clear the edge of the map then raiders will be able to spawn from there. In the newer versions Tynan made it so that you can't build from a few squares away from the edge, so that the enemy can still spawn.

The game is currently on Alpha 7 and it is very enjoyable. Just a suggestion, but maybe it is time to update. XD

Edit: Oops, I forgot that you can't atm. Sorry. ^^;

I managed to get tynan to give me the alpha 6 version because he found my payment records somewhere. He can't give me a7 though.

He cant give you A7? I highly doubt that. If youve paid you would get an email with the links and Tynan has ALL the releases and he can give them to who he likes, why would he deny you access to what youve paid for. I dont mean to sound suspicious but well....im suspicious.
