Title: [Mod request] Using old colonies

hey guys. hmm.. so.. this is what happened today :( (http://imageshack.com/a/img913/9489/aHY2Mz.jpg). I'm really sad b'cos of that, some f*cking raiders just destroyed my base, killed or made go on rampage around 35 of my colonists, killed around 20 ppl from other factions, but still, we won. So i wonder is it there any way to make a new colony on place of that one, start rebuilding and stuff like that? on my colony... dead colony there is a lot of resources, weapons, armor and of course corpses, new group of colonists could rebuild it and live there, is there any way to do that?

You could let the game roll for couple ingame months (just for the sakes of roleplay =P)
and then Spawn 3 colonists through the devmode and just pretend you landed  there again ;D

Can't say how hard/easy would it be to make a mod that'd let you do this in a legit way

You can also get the wandering person joins your colony event if you wait long enough.

You basically only need a mod which starts a New Colony with this particular savegame as map instead of generating a new map. Most of this is GUI modding and sadly Im too bad at GUI stuff

The issue with trying to rebuild this late in the game is that the storyteller doesn't stop icnreasing the difficulty. You'd never get through the next raid.
So I too request a mod that allows the taking over of abandoned colonies. Or I can hope that Tynan makes the storytellers nicer.

What would people think to an event that drops 3 more colonists via droppod if all colonists die...its kinda cheaty but it'd be random colonists so not too bad...I dunno would it be useful?

I think it would need to somehow simulate the passage of time without actually have it pass that much time ingame though.

there was around 35 raiders 1st wave and then second wave around 20 tribesmen... yea that could be great to add faster time speed.
