FIRST RELEASE!! WOHOOO FOR TEH EMPRAH!! (https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=8515.0)

My dear brothers and sister,

I am in dire need for all kinds of Space Marine textures. The Imperium needs white recolorable Power Armour without any chapter markings and Terminator Armour textures. The war also demands for a lot of weapon textures preferably Bolters, Heavy Bolters, Flamers and other fire weapons. Bonus points for bits like Seals of Purity, skulls, crosses, decals, markings, etc as extra textures which could be used as motes.

I need you, the Imperium needs you.

It was a Warhammer 40K core replacement project that i gave up on :)
It would needed a a full version instead of alpha of the game to work :)

Thanks. Methinks I'll have to re-do the front helmet (made it 64x64, not 128x128 by mistake), but I should have a complete set(s) finished soon.
Maybe even several helmet variants.

64x64 should work great and I am not too sure if there will be a big difference in detail in the game later.

But the original resolution is 64 by 64, is it not?

hm...texture pack is 128x128. Dunno. Maybe I made them unenecessarily bigger :(

I think it doesnt care because the game scales down anyways. I have also 256x256 over detailed item textures which were scaled down by the game.

Next up - same variants (especially helmets), bling and purity seals.
Also assault cannon, power fists and heavy flamers.
Cyclone missile launcher?
Dang..that is built-in. How do go around that one?

Well this seems to be progressing farther than my 40k mod project. I made a plasma gun, power saber, and plasma pistol if anyone wants to use the sprites/code. Just let me know! 

Edit: Almost forgot that I made a hellgun and chainsword too.

Its a tough one with OP space marines, unless they have some serious competition too (warpspawn, pugs, chaos marines etc) I reckon. It should be rare and hard to attain where you can install the geneseed into a Pawn (for the emperor), and once you have one, the harder spawns start to appear. If you have one though, there are corruption events that can kick in if you're dodgy.

Just sat for a while musing that some company owns the copyright etc on it and how much scope they'll give it if it gets popular. Not a real fan of how the world is setup atm.
