So ive been many times annoyed when my best colonist died,from getting shot etc.I always wanted to heal him and making him Frankenstein-like.Colonists would donate organs to corpse then experiment will happen and body will work.Off course there would be minus.People have -10 For feeling uncomfortable around him.Since you know he will be all sewed and looking kinda like Texas Massacre.You can implant Bionic Limbs and organs.This would be great with mod Extended Bionics and Surgery.
I feel that making mod like this is possible.I dont know how but i think that making code for operating dead bodies would work.

I had mentioned in the thread that it isn't possible and would be very hard to mod into the game.
Actually making code to operate organs into corpse will be easy but making corpse alive would be hard.
And yeah i saw that mod before but this is not what i meant the guy will be same one but resurrected like.He changes personality by someone who already had brain before.
And did someone heard anything about Zombie Apocalypse Alpha 8 Update?

Yes it is possible to take organs from a dead body. It was meant to be a feature in alpha 8 but there is a bug that prevents it. Otherwise like you mentioned I don't think there is a person here that would take on such a challenging task of making it possible to revive the dead.
I want this kind of mod more then anything and agree with you 100% but I feel like there is not enough demand for it, for modders to notice.
Maybe they should add it in Extended Surgery and Bionics,Their mod is highly demanding.

I dont know what leedle means but i didnt said it needs to be Frankenstein.You just operate organs into death body to make it alive and working again.This is how i think about this mod in nutshell.
A simpler mod would probably be a defibrillator unit (an ingredient needed for the "bring back to life recipe"). Only problem I see with this is that people who are lacking major organs wouldn't be viable.
If someone wants to get more complex, that's totally possible too.
Maybe something like blood transfusions for people who suffered blood loss before death?
Maybe a new technology that saves your colonists' info in a database, and you can put that information into a dead body? That one's a little weird, but I thought I'd share it anyways haha.
Defilibrator seems too easy for me.But blood transfusion would be good.But they need new organs too if they want to live :D Blood bags should be in traders,Maybe slavers.They have to be cheaper than slaves but not cheap.
