Post by: Fruit loops on February 20, 2015, 06:30:18 PM
Today my computer charger randomly stop working ;-;

1: my grandmother ripped the plug out, do you think that affected it?
2: I unplugged my computer, and it shocked me, when i got home it didn't work

So my Grandma, ripped the plug out, and i got shocked unplugging it, a hour or so later (still worked when i left, it didn't work when i got home)

What do you think happened?

Cause i don't want to pay a bunch of money ;-;

Please help me if you can :)

How in the world are you getting shocked? Are there bare wires?

Either the charger is damaged or your port is damaged on the laptop (?) motherboard.

You can buy another charger from the manufacturer or a universal charger from Best Buy or online. That are not too expensive.

Wiggle the connection in the port and see if it starts or stops charging. If so, probably broken solder joints or broken board. That can get complicated/expensive.

Ludeon forums is probably not the place to be asking this. But...

Like Tommy said, try wiggling the charger point in the port to see if it starts/stops
If you have something like this  Try checking to see if the point between the AC Adapter (The Brick) and the power cord (Leading to the power point) is firmly connected.

And as Tommy said again... They aren't too expensive! the one I grabbed the picture from was only $22 and is brand new.
