Title: Plant growth gone wild and lose of the wind
Post by: Vonholtz on February 24, 2015, 01:26:35 AM
I am not sure this is do to any mod's I am running or not. I am just trying to find out if other are getting this.

Ok what I am seeing is hyper plant growth. I will cut down a tree in my windmill zone. And by the time it is cut down there is another one right next to it. So is this to do with the vanilla alpha 9 or is one or more of my mod's doing this? So has anyone else seen this as well?

Also I see that the windmills stop some times with out any thing blocking them. So again is this some thing new to alpha 9?

I am in a temperate forest but I will give you it in may. But it seem to be way fast. I watched the tree grow right next to the pawn as he was cutting the one down. That seems a little fast to me.

You can place wood flooring where you dont want plants to grow..or build a solar panel there which wont block the fan

I know about the wood floors. It just early in a new game and I do not have the wood cut for the floors. All be it if it keep growing that fast I soon will. Now I did not know that solar panels can be put in the windmill zone and not block them. So thank you for that info. That will come in handy.  ;D

I also find now that I can hang the zone over water and mud where nothing grows. It cuts down on how much wood I need,
