I was talking to Tynan a few days ago about RimWorld font and its existence and so far there was no official font made.
He gave me permission to give a shot at it, nothing official just something to make life easier for YouTubers or modders who want to imitate RimWorlds logo appearance for their thumbnails or mod titles.
I am aware it's far from perfect as it's my first legitimate attempt at making one, and it's by no means designed to write long paragraphs with =p
To be more clear this has nothing to do with in-game implementation.
Its sole purpose is to give you the font for your custom image titles or thumbnails, that you might create in Photoshop or any other image making software.
I hope this ends up helping some people in the long run.

I was thinking about making lower case and a more simplified "O" just wasn't sure if that's something people wanted, I'll add it a bit later after I get some sleep =p

Yeah I waited too, but nobody took on the task to make one so here we go, glad it helped :)
A small update.
*fixed spacing on some letters Q, C, D, W
*added more simplified lowercase O without the logo look.
Just replace you current one, it should work fine.
This looks pretty awesome. The forum should totally use it for titles.
Sorry for the dum question, how do we use it in game?
It's just a font. You can use it in a painting program to put Rimworld-style lettering in an image.

Ah! sure thing, I could add those tomorrow :) I didn't touched symbols on purpose since there are entire alphabets of them out there =p but if there is a need for specific ones I could bring them in.

Ordinary letters are for comparison, the download link in the first post should be the same but hosting the newer edition.
Just install it on top of the previous one it should work fine :)

I am a bit late for this but hey.
I was actually operating on very little amount of sleep hours back when I made this so its a typo (': , but I guess since its already there might as well leave it as an inside joke =p

Looks like the font is being used a lot so I went back and refined quite a few things.
*Letter A altered design to be more flush with the rest of the letters.
*Capital A is now reversed for better title esthetics.
*Capital R has a longer leg.
*Added a lot of missing symbols.
*Tweaked some letters to look more consistent.
*Fixed spacing on half of the letters.
*Implemented Russian letters from the post above, thanks for the contribution :)

I really appreciate your work. We've used your font on our website - rimworldpolska.pl - site for Polish RimWorld fanbase. Currently we are making an article about where you can download and how to install and use your font - of course with your copyrights and link to your profile on this forum.
I would like to ask you if you could add some Polish letters to your font? We are really using them in many of our words. For example - mawół (muffalo) or - our beloved one - zażółć gęślą jaźń ("Yellowize the mind with/of a gusle", which is used to preview fonts like English phrase "The quick brown fox...").

This is really awesome! Could you please add a license to the post?
If you are willing to let everyone use it regardless of whether it is a commercial project, you can grab a creative commons license and it's really easy. Please do this so it's clear how we are allowed to use your font.
I know many people will use it for things that go on monetized Youtube channels and such. If you give them the creative commons license for commercial use, it protects them and their work.
I like to put only licenced fonts in my computer so I know if I go "Oh, that is the font I want to use" I can use it, regardless of my project.
