Title: Phoebe Friendly? Not so much...
Post by: vagineer1 on November 19, 2013, 10:28:19 AM
I was building my colony using the Phoebe Friendly AI when after about a week in-game a large portion of the muffalos in the map went bezerk and killed all my colonists. What the heck happened? I thought Phoebe only wanted good for the colony?

Did you fight back? Because this can happen no matter what.

The storytellers are still being balanced.

There is a calculation in wich the game counts what to send you.
Having alot of turrets will trigger bigger groups of enemies. While they are much weaker than goons fighting them off.

I did fight back. though I only had one or two pistols on account of the fact that I was on Phoebe Friendly.

It happened to me with boomrats, luckily nobody died but there was a massive fire that destroyed most of my bunker.
It's a shame that turrets don't target hostile animals really.

I know. If my turrets could target the muffaloes I may have survived the attack.

Its easy, i did die once but i think i did something wrong because after that i've had no problems. Its good that it gives some kind of threat because without any it would be boring as hell. But again only if turrets would work against wildlife it would be pretty much easymode IF you build those when and if its supported :D
