It's pretty messed up. And annoying.
Fertilized eggs should be forbidden by default even if they are laid in the home zone.
Rahitjal, they aren't as far as I know. Anyway, the option to select which foods colonist can use would be good anyway, with prisoners and animals alike. I hate it when a legless prisoner gets a fine meal from the raid, and my colonists have to go with human meat.

Well fertilized eggs *are* a delicacy in many parts of the world, particularly the Philippines. But yeah I would like an option to control people's diets so that I could have my cannibals and pets eat human meat but not the other colonists.
Uh... I don't know were human meat came into this.
