Title: Joy time and sickness
Post by: Locklave on September 06, 2015, 12:30:18 AM
Not sure if this is a bug but sick Pawns refuse to use Joy time they just sleep during it and go crazy because of the joyless debuff.

Fix this or remove joy as an issue from sick Pawns.

If you lower the priority of "Patient" then draft/undraft to make them get up, they'll go do joy stuff (if not restricted to "Work"), then you can raise the priority again and let them continue resting.

It would be nice if sick colonists would be a little more intelligent about it, doing non-work things like eating and joy stuff, but resting when they'd otherwise be doing work. Not if you manually tell them to "rest until healed", then they'd just rest until healed without getting up, for when you really want them to raise immunity as fast as possible. That's a suggestion, not a bug, though.

Would help if sickness wasn't totally out of control since the last patch, it's making this issue a big one.

Thanks for the solution, shame however it's even more micro work.

Cimanyd, thought it was actually hard coded that they couldn't get any joy because they were sick, but you saved me a whole lot of trouble, so my colonists don't go beserk anymore when they are sick/wounded!

There were some problems with Patient work type priorities (https://ludeon.com/mantis/view.php?id=2149 (https://ludeon.com/mantis/view.php?id=2149)). Should work fine in A13.
