You have problem with food DURING TOXIC FALLOUT?
But there was so much meat lying around the map!
My longest toxic was 3 months, but they usually stay for a little longer than 1 month.
Buy food from traders or butcher up those visitors.
Back in testing the fallout didnt end. I was in my Dwarf Colonist Fortress in a mountain desperately building hydroponics and eventually making stasis pods. It lasted forever, the whole map was dead. My colonists didnt see outside for months. I absolutely LOVE the fallout event and wish it wasnt so short.
To be honest, i forgot that people can be outside, just not forever. All those animals i could have butched rotted before i could get to them. Finding after it ended i can't find any more 100% trees. Planting a big BIG tree farm. Also animals came back? Yes!
