first question might be hard to answer for someone that has been grown and educated in of of those creationists schools & environments
second question might be quite hard to answer for someone not native english that doesn't speak the language well.

a simple catcha code should suffice and if you want to be THAT extremist about your forum privacy and security, then use two numeric captchas and ask the user to sum them both.

mathematics is a universal and absolute language, unlike <paintbrushes> ...

Are those two questions causing a problem?

I'm open to replacement suggestions.

I'd prefer to use a captcha but every time I try it either gets immediately, massively broken by spammers, or it just doesn't work for mysterious reasons. The questions seem to actually work.

I'd just like to say the gravity question might have multiple viable answers. One could argue that Einstein discovered gravity as we know it today.

Obviously one of the questions needs you to state the third law of thermal dynamics.

What about a Rimworld specific question such as "What is the name of the game you are verifying your registration for?"

Really? If it is so, why is he allowed using a computer? xD
Religion is a b*tch!
OP is really embarrassing, especially in times of google and not knowing that one paint with a paintbrush.

As man is to woman, light is to _____ : Dark.

What goes up, must come ____ : Down

As iron sharpens iron, as does a man sharpen another ____ : man

just a few ideas

Green is NOT a primary color. Green is achieved by combining blue and yellow. Primary colors are Red, Yellow and Blue!

True for paint and pigments, but not light.  Then the primary colors are Red, Green, and Blue (RGB).  That's because your eyes perceive red, green, and blue and mix them to get other colors.  It's also why electronic displays (TVs, monitors, phones, etc) display every color as some combination of red, green, and blue.

Good suggestions, but they might be tricky for people who don't have English as a first language.

Dark is absence of light.  I don't think woman is absence of man...

I could argue light is also the absence of dark...but the point is they are opposites.

"How many eyes does the average person have?"

"Earth has how many moons?"

"How many days are there in a week?"

"What is the powerhouse of the cell?"

"What is two + two?"

Easy enough for ya folks?

You could argue that, but I don't really agree that light (EM radiation) and dark (lack thereof) are opposites.  Having 0 apples is not the opposite of having 8 apples, or at least it's not how I think of the word "opposite".  And if I had 8 apples I personally would never claim to have "the absence of no apples".

Whether men and women are "opposites" is also not really clear to me -- I think context is important for that one.

Those are some pretty tough questions Friend...

"How many eyes does the average person have?"
Does the third eye (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_eye) count?

"Earth has how many moons?"
This is widely debated (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claimed_moons_of_Earth) in the astronomical community.

"How many days are there in a week?"
That depends which calendar system (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Week#.22Weeks.22_in_other_calendars) you use.

"What is the powerhouse of the cell?"
The cell in biology, or Cell from Dragonball Z?

"What is two + two?"
In what base number system?

... ;D

I had to reanswer half of the questions because I got them wrong (half of them cause I got February wrong - non native here x). Liked the questions tho.

Hmm... the questions from the wiki (http://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page (http://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page)) seem to work...

Eg. What is the name of the explosive rat create in the game?

What is the name of the game this forum is about?

What is the name of the Buffalo-like creature in the game?

Although it does require some knowledge of the game.

And as I expand my walk-in freezer by a measly 20 tiles, the temperature fluctuates nearly 50 degrees C.

English is not my native language and it was a pain in the ass to answer those questions, each time i had to google 2 out of 3 or even 3. I have no clue which is the last month of the year. Or second. And i think those answers are case sensitive, if i write Star"wars" instead of Star"Wars" it wont pass and i get 3 new questions... and again, and again...

But hey, its only few first posts, its not that bad :)

This is why people do language independent questions such as "1 + 1 =  "

Its also insulting that someone must have "gone to a creationist school" not to get the first question...  Sorry, but I have painted multiple houses and have a bachelors, masters, and PhD, yet I didn't get the question.  What threw me was the "horsehair" part as never used a brush with horsehair.

Just some ideas:

"The human body is composed mostly of what common liquid?" (water)

"Most people have ____ growing on the top of their head?" (hair)

"If you are looking north, what direction is to your left?" (west)

"Box is to boxes, as Fox is to _____." (foxes)
