There is a bug with stewing fire. When fire appears a colonist go to this point and do nothing just stay there until he dies. And other colonists join to him. And point with this fire marked as white square or little point on the map and this "fire" do not destoy building and have no end. If I unmark "firefighting" options from menu, then colonists go back to their duties but after some minutes one of them in my game didnt take food and died from hunger. And this strange points spreads on the map.
Do you have a savegame?
So we can look into it?
Here it is. This is another game but problem is the same. Fire appears how points at map

Thank you very much.
Looking into it now.
I really can't see anything. Sorry. I dont see a fire.
And if i force a fire they just do what they are supposed to do.
I do see the escaping prisoner bug (-: Thanks for giving me more info on that bug (-:
Maybe somebody else can confirm the critical fire bug.
Please try that and you will see bug with fire

Ok i will try again (-:
You have a small home zone set up down there.
The colonist that is there just walks back to its base.
If your colonist stays.
Maybe try and reinstall the game and rerun the savegame.
Yes my colonist just stays there until he dies.

As you can see in the gif he clearly walks away.
Did you modify anything?
The output_log.txt is as important as the save. You can find that in the game folder, within _Data (in my computer, it's under C:\Games\RimWorldAlpha1Win\RimWorld334Win_Data ). If you manage to reproduce it, or experience it again, i strongly recommend that you quit the game and save that file, and post it here

Thanks a bug in there indeed.
Will put it in mantis.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
I had exactly the same issue here (fire-unbeatable-to-colonists-death, dim yellow squares down to one pixel in size, instead of fire-graphics). A quick look into the mentioned logfile enlighted me -> several files weren't loaded as they were unable to be found by unity.
These files are in fact present in the filesystem but the loader seems to have problems with non-latin-characters in paths (here: German Umlauts as they can be found in my name). I still trait this a bug but moving the whole directory into a location without non-latin characters solved the thing for me: C:\Games\... instead of $HOME$/...
(I have had this issue with other program's, too.)
Hope this helps narrowing down the thing.
I was having the exact same issue. There were Japanese characters in the filepath, and moving the game folder to a different location seems to have fixed it. bwbg is definitely on to something.
