One of those game mechanics that makes perfect sense, but I personally dislike, is the inability to move most buildings upon construction. For example: workshops, research stations, turrets, etc. As my colony evolves gradually, and rooms get re-purposed, moving equipment around comes at a great cost. I try to mitigate this by careful planning, or course, but you cannot account for every eventuality.
I was just wondering if it is possible to mod this and if so, is anyone working on a similar project?
