Blind pawns shouldn't get any moodlets based on sight (room beauty, dirt, Beautiful/Ugly, witnessed corpse, etc).

I'm not fully on board about blind colonists not being able to detect dirt. Dirt can easily be detected using other senses.

Welcome to my colony, first you pluck your eyes to not see the meat you're eating.
Everything is bloody, dirty, and bad. But since you're blind you are fine!

I would only agree if blind pawns were forbidden of acting.

We should move it up to suggestions, as well as making eye scars/shots harder to happen

I disagree with scars being harder to happen.  The eye (and brain) scar VERY easily, and I personally think that part is fine.

I do agree that eyes are too easy to hit, though.  And that just comes down to how humanlike (etc?) bodies are defined.  That part could use a little tweaking IMO.

Agreed,

On the topic of being blind, blind guys don't have a disavantage if put to clean/haul and cut plants. They can even smelt slag and make stoneblocks easily.

Maybe manipulation should also drop alot when blind.

Yeah, pretty much.

But even without sight, he should get the debuff on Witnessed death of Family/Ally

"Scenario: Start with 3 eight year old 20 skill weavers, that make parkas and stumble everywhere." They have a pet lhama.

Ok, I disabled the Beauty need and some other thoughts for blind pawns.

"Witnessed X's death" is still possible.
