So, after in my last play through everyone died horribly in a painful display of bad luck and ineptitude from everyone involved, I decided to start a new one. This one is called the growers, a group of drug growers come up with the grand idea to set up on an uncharted planet hoping not to be bothered by any authorities or anyone else, not realising the planet is in fact inhabited.
Everything goes wrong and they crash land, without any real knowledge of how to survive without their ship providing electricity. They have to try to survive, with the knowledge of drug making, but otherwise the research level of a tribe. Will they survive? Can they escape the planet? And can they grow enough drugs in the mean time to live like kings when they do? Playing on Cassandra on Intense.

Next 2 parts are uploaded, and these are some oddities. First we have a raid that lasts so long we literally nearly starve (molotovs and rain don't mix, kids) and then we get a nice relaxing period where we actually remedy our food situation. Very strange.

Someone in my colony has rubbed two sticks together and figured out how to make electricity! That means we can make a freezer! That means we have to fill the freezer... And not with vegetables.

Winter is coming... so they say. We have a few mood problems to sort out, mostly stemming from people being idiots and eating raw food, so we'd better fix that, and the lack of wood, and defend our base from pirates, and control our prisoners etc. etc... One day I'll make a perfect colony.

Next 3 episodes are here, and having completed the research on gun turrets it's time to build a nice new killbox. However, as winter wears on, we're starting to yet again struggle for food. We're just about keeping the meat coming in, but half the work is trying to stop the colonists eating it raw and going insane. Splendid.

Might have forgotten to post here the last few days.. so the next 5 episodes are up! We go from the end of spring to the beginning of winter in these episodes, make some big, much needed advances in our colony and technology and fend off several attempts to kill us all and mutilate our corpses. All the while trying to grow enough food to last us the winter so we might have ONE where we're not on the brink of starvation! (A boy can dream, right?)

Just an update to say I'm still pumping out the videos. We're getting close to the end now, hoping to build a space ship big enough to carry all of my people off the planet before something goes horribly wrong, like we all murder each other or everyone dies of the plague (which has already nearly happened). Hello everyone! Just a quick note to say... WE'RE DONE! I've launched the ship on episode 72! That's a lot of episodes..
It was 6 years game time, and by the end we had 33 colonists! Including.. incredibly.. all 4 of our original members! I hadn't actually realised that until a few minutes ago. We did manage to have plenty of drugs when we took off, so I feel the objective went well. Thanks to anyone that's been watching! See you in the next one :)
