The main char is pretty badass not in that OP sense either.
He's a good human. He does things in a human way, letting emotions get in the way and having it's spirit broken.
But when he dosen't do that, he leads an army to kill a giant whale.
I came in blind expecting a cliche fantasy harem show.
Then the blindfold came off. From there, I found myself stuck in the passenger seat of a Subaru.
Once in a while, you'll feel something warm holding your hand and a cute calming voice say "daijoubu", then the car would immediately ram full speed into a concrete wall.
10/10 would recommend ride.
