This thread is to announce any mods you have made or updated for this version of RimWorld.

Many times when people post smaller mods their threads get buried under the threads of bigger, more established mods which generate more activity. They go unseen because they sink to page 2 of the releases forum and people who don't check the forums daily might never even see them.

To solve this issue this thread is here. If you're modder you can make a post with a link and short description of your mod and it will always be at the bottom of the thread where people can find it easily. If you're a mod user wanting to check out which new mods have been released you can simply go to the new posts, same as any other thread and see all the new releases since your last visit.

Almost all of Zorba's Miscellaneous Tweakery Mods (https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=26623.0) have been updated to A16. The two that haven't been are going to be ignored because they're now part of A16 core.

These are make-the-game-slightly-less-irritating mods. And they're generally not big mods, either.

* ExpandedCloth - cotton plants yield raw fibre which must be turned into cloth at the textile bench, which also offers the ability to recycle some cloth from unwanted apparel

* MiscStuff - scrap metal walls that are fast and cheap to build but very weak, and a threat sensor that passes data to alert lamps that glow either green, yellow, or red depending on how dangerous things are nearby

They are expensive and power hungry but can really strengthen your defences.
The shields will stop projectiles that try to enter it, but allow weapons to be fired out.

With this mod, crop blight affects a single crop type only. Random storytellers may choose to randomly send drop pods filled with food instead of a blight. Because you'll never figure out the mystery of why these pods keep showing up. ;)

However, beware, the random can work against you. A more severe blight which destroys more crops is also a possibility.

Your typical weapons mod, in this case adding Lasers and some misc weapons. All weapons can be crafted after the respective research is unlocked at the Machining table. Variants have their own quirks and values that allow for differing uses to their vanilla counterparts.

Incidents will have a longer time before they can fire again. So the storyteller will have to troll you with something else.

Solar flare in particular has been given an upgrade in A16. It can now affect all active maps. However it can only do so if your latitude is not between 40N and 60N.

Psychology just got a massive update that introduces personalities and elections to the game. This gives your colonists' social interactions much, much more depth and variety. It's basically a complete overhaul of the vanilla psychology and social systems.

If he is the one on the table, the next best one will perform the operation.

Of course, only doctors with some movement and manipulation can perform surgeries!. If your doctor with the best surgery success chance is incapable of walking or manipulation, he wont be considered.

Hunting Restriction - the Trigger Happy Update

Hunting Restriction allows the hunters to decide when they should and shouldn't hunt based on a number of factors including health and weather.

The Trigger Happy Update allows colonists with the Trigger Happy trait to close in to a much shorter range before opening fire on their mark and keep that mark in range.

N.B. Hunting boomalopes is not recommended.

Well THAT Was Rude! is a mod that allows pawns to hold the door for one another, granting you a bit more customization of your pawn's autonomy. For example, heavy-duty interior doors are more viable - before, they took way too long to open, and holding them open defeated the purpose of even having them.

I should pay more attention. I hadn't noticed before that this thread even existed. :D

OK, well, my newest mod, released yesterday, is Fewer Ruins (https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=30749.msg319912#msg319912). It reduces the number of ruins and "ancient shrines" that appear on new maps, and also modifies how ruins generate to reduce the number of unattached walls and to eliminate the long, thin buildings that look like hallways.

My second-most-recent mod is Editable Backstories (https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=30749.msg317704#msg317704). The point of that one should be pretty self-evident.
